Orostachys Iwarege (“Chinese Dunce Caps”)

Orostachys Iwarenge, more commonly known as “Chinese Dunce Caps,” are, in our opinion, one of the most distinctive and enjoyable succulents to keep. Chinese Dunce Caps are evergreen and have some of the most beautiful and symmetrical small rosettes of any succulent, with each rosette reaching 1″-2″ in diameter. Chinese Dunce Caps grow by producing offshoots, so a small patch of rosettes can quickly grow to cover a large area making these ideal ground covers.

Your plant will ship bare root carefully wrapped in tissue paper in packaging tailored to the plants in your order to ensure the safest possible delivery to you.

Free USPS 2-3 day Priority Shipping will be automatically applied to orders of $75 or more at checkout. If your order does not reach the $75 free shipping threshold, we will be happy to put together a custom shipping profile for you – in most cases, shipping costs can be $7.50 or less.

If your order consists of a mixture of pre-order and in-stock plants, your order will ship when all plants have arrived and are ready. If you would like, or need, for plants to ship as soon as they are available, I am happy to work out separate shipping with you.

Imports coming from overseas will be ready to ship to you in 3-4 weeks’ time.

About this plant

Huernia Zebrinas happen to be one of the most striking plants when in bloom, and our extremely rare variegated specimens take these already incredible plants to a different level. Huernia Zebrinas remain relatively short (several inches) in height but branch out and take up increasingly large patches, and when in bloom, Huernia Zebrinas produce bright and bold red and yellow flowers, which are their most defining features.
